Job Summary

The State of Ohio is seeking an experienced Test Lead to support the Division of Information Technology at the Ohio Industrial Commission. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities while leading a team of QA testers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the QA testing team.
• Create Test Scenarios (TS), Test Cases (TC), and execute test cases using Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Plans.
• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and ensure complete test coverage.
• Develop Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) from Functional Requirements to Test Cases.
• Design and execute various testing types including Smoke, Integration, System, Regression, Performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Prepare status reports and dashboards to communicate testing progress, risks, blockers, and defect metrics.
• Verify data pipelines and perform data validation.
• Assist in planning, creating, and maintaining test environments.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a QA/Test Lead.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Plans.
• Expertise in test planning, test case design, and execution.
• Experience creating RTMs and ensuring complete requirements coverage.
• Knowledge of positive, negative, boundary value, equivalence partitioning, and decision table testing.
• Experience with defect tracking and reporting.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience with data validation and data pipeline testing.
