The Opportunity

A high-growth industry leader dedicated to advancing advanced manufacturing processes is seeking an ambitious Engineering Manager to drive operational excellence, equipment design, and process innovation. Serving as a crucial leadership anchor, this role will oversee multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams to ensure high-capacity, safe, and reliable production readiness. StaffRight Associates is sourcing to guide the search for this executive position, aligning elite technical talent with a dynamic organization focused on scaling cutting-edge continuous processing capabilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion talent growth and team leadership by guiding, mentoring, and developing high-performing process, controls, facility, and maintenance engineering professionals.

  • Architect long-term capital plans, managing annual CapEx allocations and operational budgets across all engineering and maintenance functions.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, embedding Lean frameworks to boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness, decrease scrap, and enhance overall line uptime.

  • Engineer robust manufacturing processes that guarantee seamless scalability from initial prototype stages to full-scale commercial manufacturing.

  • Pioneer capital projects focused on state-of-the-art automation, equipment standardization, and vendor performance management.

  • Deploy total predictive and preventive maintenance strategies by implementing and optimizing modern Computerized Maintenance Management System platforms.

  • Synthesize cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Procurement, Finance, and Sales teams to fulfill custom product requirements and ensure adherence to rigorous ISO standards.

  • Evaluate complex operational bottlenecks using structured root-cause analysis, providing data-driven performance updates to executive leadership.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Advanced Degree preferred).

  • 10+ Years of progressive engineering leadership within high-precision continuous processing environments (e.g., Polymer Processing, Battery, Extrusion, Coating, or Specialty Film).

  • Mastered expertise in Capital Expenditure Project Management, Capital Planning, and Budget Management.

  • Hands-on command of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Process Optimization, Automation, Computerized Maintenance Management System, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Problem Solving, and New Product Introduction.

  • Demonstrated history of establishing operational rigor, key metrics, and Process Scalability in fast-paced production facilities.

  • Willingness to travel to external vendor facilities and additional plant locations as necessary.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $160,000 annually

  • Additional Rewards: Annual performance bonus
