Job Description –
• Serve as the primary Calypso SME and provide functional and technical expertise across the platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Calypso solutions.
• Configure and support Calypso modules, workflows, products, and business processes.
• Provide expertise across trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, accounting, and reporting.
• Work with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Lead or support Calypso implementations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
• Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution.
• Support integration of Calypso with upstream and downstream systems.
• Review functional and technical designs and ensure alignment with Calypso best practices.
• Develop functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and implementation plans.
• Support system testing, integration testing, UAT, and production releases.
• Mentor junior Calypso developers/analysts and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Required Qualifications
• Experience working with Calypso in financial services or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of Calypso architecture, configuration, workflows, and trade lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Calypso implementations, enhancements, upgrades, or migrations.
• Strong knowledge of one or more capital markets domains such as:
o Fixed Income
o FX
o Derivatives
o Interest Rate Products
o Money Markets
o Securities
o Treasury
• Experience with Calypso interfaces and integration with external systems.
• Strong SQL/database skills and experience with production troubleshooting.
• Understanding of financial markets, trade lifecycle, risk, settlement, and accounting processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
