Job Description :
This position is responsible for the performance, integrity, and
security of the organization's databases. This is a Senior level DBA
role, and the incumbent is expected to independently complete all dba
functions without input from onshore dba s. Career experience should
include deep hands-on experience independently troubleshooting
performance issues, job failures, space issues, database
inconsistencies, identifying root cause thereof, and then independently
resolving the issue.

The Sr. DBA will work towards ensuring that data
remains consistent across the database, data is clearly defined, and
data is safeguard. This role is for a Sr DBA Consultant- SQL skills are required, and
Oracle skills are preferred. There are on-call rotation responsibilities
for this role to support after hours business needs including nights and
weekends. This role will also include Oracle and MariaDB support. The
selected individual will receive training on Oracle and MariaDB should
they not already have knowledge of these systems. Essential Job Functions
As a consultant, the expectation will be for you to keep up to date on
the latest technologies including AI.

You will Inform the client of the
technologies that will benefit them based on experience working within
the environment. You will also solution opportunities for automation of
redundant tasks and bring them to management for implementation.
Knowledge of the SQL Server Environments 2012-2023
Good understanding of DMV s, SQL Traces, and when to use them
Experience working with application teams, troubleshooting issues, and
assisting in upgrades a plus
Experience conducting discoveries a plus.

Experience configuring and operating within HA environments including
clustering, always-on, replication, mirroring, etc.
Independently Troubleshoots job failures, space issues, performance
issues, connection failures, login failures, etc to resolution
Ticket management experience (managing the ticketing queue for Service
requests, tasks, incidents, etc. Communicates effectively with the team
and stakeholders across the organization.

Installs and configures SQL Server SSRS/SSAS/SSIS and instances of SQL
Server
Powershell scripting
Developer background a plus
Query analysis
Experience with configuring and setting up IDERA.
Experience with SQL/Oracle Licensing a plus
Development experience- Proficiency with T-SQL.
Capable of creating SQL queries to query data, create stored
procedures, triggers, etc.
