Due to growth and some exciting upcoming projects, an opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Melbourne team. About the role

OneVue Senior Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for deploying and operating Infrastructure systems with a focus on advanced Windows system administration and support.

As a senior member of the Infrastructure team you will be responsible for the implementation and operation of all OneVue production environments. This includes virtual and physical servers, voice, messaging and network devices, firewalls, applications and storage networks.

This is a very technical position that will see the successful candidate build on their experience across a breadth of technologies to bring further enhancement, automation and resiliency to a growing environment.

About You

You will ideally come from a service-oriented background with complimentary experience in network administration and user support. With MCSE level experience as a Systems Administrator, your history includes a solid background in IT support, preferably from within the Financial Services industry.

You have experience in change management; incident management; IT & Cyber security; operating cloud environments and deploying infrastructure.

A motivated technologist, tenacious and resilient, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you apply best practice and process in all situations to resolve issues while not compromising the integrity of the environment.

Your Skills and Experience

An experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer of at least 6 years, you are able to work both independently and with your team to provide quality service, support and maintenance of all WINTEL environments.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in Infrastructure design and deployments or related field (minimum 5+ years)
• Experience in network and infrastructure support and administration (minimum 5 years)
• Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Ability to demonstrate strong troubleshooting/diagnostic skills, think analytically while working in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate highly technical information to business-oriented audiences
• Ability to perform multiple functions and operate in dynamic environment with minimal supervision
• Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion.

In-depth hands-on technical experience in the following areas:

• Windows Server Administration
• Network Administration - Layer 2&3 (CCNA - Cisco routers, HP Switches)
• Firewall configuration and support (Cisco ASA)
• Database Server Administration (MSSQL)
• Virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Escalated support for IT Helpdesk
