Job Description

Scope : (“Client”) is interested in engaging AHEAD Professional Services to provide a 6-month, full-time, onsite Network Engineer for staff augmentation. The AHEAD engineer’s skillset shall align between the Client’s NE1 (AHEAD TC) and NE2 (AHEAD STC) skillset profiles provided

Skills - Must Have

Layer 2, foundational Layer 3, and introductory Wi-Fi concepts. L2 switching (i.e. fully understand VLANs, tagging, trunking, AAA, Spanning Tree, etc.) and foundational knowledge of L3 networking

Skills - Nice to Have

Strong L2–L7 understanding, routing/firewall/Wi-Fi integration, and Network Access Control (NAC). Should have an in-depth understanding of L2 switching and a strong understanding of L3 through 7 networking, routing protocols, firewalls, WiFi and NAC.
