Job Title

Data Scientist with AWS Bedrock AgentCore Experience - Twitch

Job Description

  • Become a domain expert in the company's operations and platform data, developing a strong understanding of how the business operates and where value is created.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable analyses and solid deliverables; define metrics that measure operational effectiveness and performance.
  • Design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems - using AWS Bedrock AgentCore and related orchestration tooling - that automate recurring analyses, accelerate data exploration, and give stakeholders self-serve access to insights.
  • Bring hands-on agentic AI design and implementation experience, specifically architecting and deploying agent workflows on AWS and AWS Bedrock AgentCore infrastructure.
  • Follow strong, disciplined Python coding practices - clean architecture, testability, modularity, and production-grade engineering rigor - across all analyses, tooling, and agent systems built.
  • Architect and implement multi-agent workflows using MCP (Model Context Protocol) for tool use, context sharing, and inter-agent communication.
  • Use infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, TypeScript) to deploy, version, and manage agentic AI infrastructure in a reliable, repeatable way.
  • Produce ad-hoc analyses and reports that help teams make time-sensitive decisions with confidence.
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical partners; distill complex data and agent behavior into concise, actionable insights.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Around 10 years of overall experience as a data scientist, data/ML engineer, or applied AI practitioner in a data-driven environment.
  • Deep, hands-on Python coding ability with strong engineering practices - writing production-grade, well-structured, maintainable code, not just analysis scripts.
  • Critical requirement: substantial hands-on experience working within AWS environments, including services such as S3, Lambda, and Bedrock.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock AgentCore (or comparable agent runtime/orchestration platforms) for building and deploying agentic AI systems, including designing and implementing agent infrastructure on AWS.
  • Strong working knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) - designing MCP servers/clients, tool integration, and agent-to-agent context passing.
  • Practical experience with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) and core agentic patterns - tool use/function calling, RAG, multi-step reasoning, and autonomous task execution.
  • Proficiency with AWS CDK and TypeScript for defining and deploying cloud infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to take mid-to-complex tasks from ambiguity through to delivered results with minimal hand-holding.
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of creating insights that influence decisions.
  • Familiarity with applying agentic patterns to real-world use cases (e.g., conversational data assistants, automated report generation, or autonomous investigation agents) is a strong plus.
