EC&I Engineer - Energy & Industrial Projects Aberdeen | Hybrid Working Available £40,000 - £90,000 Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EC&I Engineer to join a globally recognised engineering consultancy delivering technically complex projects across the energy, industrial and process sectors.

This EC&I Engineer role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing and delivering electrical, control and instrumentation solutions while working on high-profile projects within the energy transition, oil & gas, offshore and industrial sectors.

Whether you're an experienced Engineer looking to broaden your technical expertise or a Senior EC&I Engineer seeking greater responsibility, this opportunity offers genuine long-term career progression.

The successful EC&I Engineer will join a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering innovative solutions across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and front-end engineering through to detailed design and commissioning support. The Role As an EC&I Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

Delivering electrical, control and instrumentation engineering solutions across energy and industrial projects<br />Producing EC&amp;I designs, calculations, specifications and technical documentation<br />Developing control philosophies, instrument schedules and electrical design packages<br />Supporting projects through feasibility, FEED, detailed design and commissioning phases<br />Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients<br />Providing technical support throughout project delivery<br />Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and client requirements<br />Supporting site visits, engineering reviews and technical meetings where requiredThis EC&amp;I Engineer position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects across multiple energy sectors.

What We're Looking For We're looking for an EC&amp;I Engineer with strong technical capability and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Ideally you'll have:

Previous experience as an EC&amp;I Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Control &amp; Instrumentation Engineer or Instrument Engineer<br />Experience delivering projects within the energy, industrial or process sectors<br />Strong understanding of electrical, control and instrumentation systems<br />Experience producing technical documentation and engineering calculations<br />Excellent communication and problem-solving skills<br />Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams<br />Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Control &amp; Instrumentation Engineering or a related disciplineThe following would be advantageous:

Experience within oil &amp; gas, offshore, hydrogen, carbon capture or renewable energy projects<br />Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)<br />Consultancy experience<br />Knowledge of relevant UK and international engineering standardsCandidates from a broad range of energy and industrial backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
