About This Opportunity

Join UQ's Asset Performance and Services team as an Asset Systems and Data Analyst and play a critical role in shaping how one of Australia's largest and most diverse university estates is managed for the future.

Role Summary

In this position you will manage and enhance UQ's asset management systems, ensure high quality asset data, and deliver insights that support strategic investment and lifecycle planning decisions across the University's built environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support asset investment planning through scenario modelling, lifecycle analysis and data driven insights.
  • Maintain and improve the quality, integrity and governance of asset information across UQ systems.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards that inform estate planning, forecasting and risk management.
  • Administer and enhance enterprise asset management systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to improve asset management processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
  • A degree in engineering, information systems, asset management, business analytics or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Experience working with asset management, infrastructure, facilities or enterprise information systems.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience maintaining data quality, governance and integrity across organisational systems.
  • Knowledge of asset lifecycle management principles and their application to planning, forecasting and investment decision making.
  • Well developed stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise asset management platforms such as Brightly, Archibus, IBM Maximo or similar systems.
  • Exposure to asset condition assessment frameworks, lifecycle costing or capital planning methodologies.
  • Experience with GIS or spatial data platforms.
  • Knowledge of ISO 55000 asset management principles and frameworks.
  • Experience within facilities management, infrastructure, local government, utilities, transport or large complex organisations.
