ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our team as a Data Center Solutions Installation Technician supporting a high-impact enhancement project at a Fortune 10 Hyperscale Cloud Services client's data centers in the Berwick, PA region. This fully onsite, initial one-month contract (with potential for extension) is focused on modernizing and optimizing technical infrastructure to reinforce reliability, efficiency, and performance across world-class facilities. As a key contributor, you will execute hands-on tasks such as containment system installation, field measurements, layout verification, and infrastructure modifications. This role is ideal for a reliable, detail-driven professional with a strong safety mindset who thrives in fast-paced, physically demanding environments. You will gain valuable, marketable experience in large-scale infrastructure delivery while contributing to meaningful upgrades in state-of-the-art data centers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Execute installation projects on time and to specification by working from technical drawings and collaborating closely with lead technicians
- Perform containment system installation, field measurements, layout verification, and infrastructure modifications as directed
- Maintain accurate field documentation, including measurements, task logs, and equipment configurations
- Support site enhancements, layout adjustments, material staging, and equipment handling to maintain project efficiency
- Enforce safe tool usage, sustain a clean and organized work environment, and hold yourself and teammates accountable to quality and safety standards
- Identify and escalate site issues, discrepancies, or safety concerns in a timely manner
- Adhere strictly to all client data center security protocols and PPE requirements (PPE provided; personal composite toe footwear encouraged)
- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and readiness to work
- Collaborate effectively with technicians and project leads as part of a mobile, schedule-driven team, rotating between multiple data center sites as needed
- Adapt to client-mandated restricted or blocked workdays due to holidays or operational events, with flexibility for scheduling changes
- Work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for extended periods, working in elevated temperatures (90-120F), confined spaces, on ladders, and at heights
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications or training in carpentry, HVAC, construction, mechanics, or general contracting a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; proficient with hand and power tools for fabrication, assembly, and installation
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy; precise measurement skills using a tape measure to tolerances of 1/16" or finer, with strong problem-solving ability from technical documentation
- Physically able to lift 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, work in elevated temperatures (90-120F), confined spaces, on ladders, and at heights
- Experience working in active data center environments while following established safety and security procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow direction and collaborate with technicians and project leads
- Demonstrated reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and readiness to work
- Strict adherence to all client data center security protocols and PPE requirements
- Flexibility for client-mandated restricted or blocked workdays and willingness to rotate between multiple data center sites as needed
- Meaningful exposure to large-scale infrastructure delivery inside world-class data centers
