Job Description

Position: Consulting Manager – Procurement Operations & Coupa Activation

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote with occasional travel)

Description:

We are seeking a Consulting Manager, Procurement Operations & Coupa Activation to lead Procurement Operations execution and Coupa activation across North America. This role will serve as the bridge between procurement policy, system enablement, and day-to-day procure-to-pay operations, ensuring successful Coupa adoption, supplier enablement, PO compliance, invoice accuracy, workflow governance, and operational discipline in support of Brink’s Source-to-Pay transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Coupa Activation & Adoption Leadership

  • Lead wave-based Coupa deployment and stabilization across North America
  • Drive user onboarding, training, and adoption aligned to persona-based journeys for requesters, approvers, AP, and suppliers
  • Enforce “No PO, No Pay” policy and process adherence across North America
  • Coordinate with IT, Accenture / MSP, and business teams for cutover, hypercare, and issue resolution

Procurement Operations Execution (P2P)

  • Own execution quality for requisition-to-PO, supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and payment readiness
  • Ensure workflow compliance, approval matrix governance, and data integrity within Coupa
  • Monitor operational KPIs including PO cycle time, invoice match rate, touchless processing, and exceptions
  • Act as the first escalation point for operational breakdowns

Supplier Enablement & Governance

  • Drive supplier onboarding, catalog enablement, and master data readiness
  • Ensure suppliers are fully enabled for PO-based invoicing and Coupa network participation
  • Partner with Procurement to support supplier segmentation, risk management, and performance tracking

Control, Compliance & Audit Readiness

  • Ensure adherence to SOX controls, procurement policy, and audit requirements, including PO compliance, invoice validation, and approval governance
  • Support audit readiness and control testing across the P2P lifecycle
  • Drive exception management and remediation for control gaps

Continuous Improvement & Automation

  • Identify and execute opportunities to reduce manual touchpoints in invoice processing and supplier onboarding
  • Improve first-time-right rates, cycle times, automation, and straight-through processing
  • Partner with GSS MSP Operations, the Coupa SI partner, and IT to enhance Coupa workflows, integrations, and reporting

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Act as the primary interface between Procurement, Finance, IT, and operations teams
  • Lead training, communications, and adoption tracking for the Coupa rollout
  • Provide regular reporting on adoption, performance, and risks to leadership

Key Deliverables: First 6–12 Months

  • Stabilized Coupa go-live across North America, with no critical defects and stable transaction flows
  • At least 75% PO compliance and measurable invoice match rate improvement aligned to go-live criteria expectations
  • Full supplier onboarding and catalog enablement for priority vendors
  • Established operational KPI dashboard and governance cadence
  • Reduced exception volume and improved cycle times across P2P

Required Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in Procurement Operations, P2P, Shared Services, or related operational transformation roles
  • Hands-on experience with Coupa or similar procure-to-pay platforms
  • Experience supporting large-scale system rollout, stabilization, or transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of supplier onboarding, procurement policy, invoice-to-pay operations, controls, audit, and compliance frameworks

Preferred Profile

  • Experience operating in a GSS, BPO, or MSP-enabled environment
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong data-driven mindset with focus on KPIs, performance management, and operational improvement
