Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack AWS Cloud Engineer / Application Tech Lead with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on industry experience developing, designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications in production environments.

This is a critical, hands-on technical leadership position. The selected candidate will provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, mentoring, and development support to a large team of software engineers while remaining deeply involved in hands-on application development and cloud engineering.

The successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running from Day 1 with minimal ramp-up time and demonstrate strong real-world experience building and supporting full-stack enterprise applications using modern AWS cloud-native technologies.

New application development is primarily focused on AWS cloud-native technologies. Experience with .NET is considered a secondary/nice-to-have skill for supporting existing legacy applications.

Key Responsibilities

·         Serve as a hands-on Application Technical Lead for enterprise application development initiatives.

·         Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to a large team of software engineers.

·         Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack enterprise applications.

·         Develop scalable, secure, highly available, and cloud-native solutions on AWS.

·         Participate in application architecture and technical design decisions.

·         Lead development efforts across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

·         Establish and promote software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

·         Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues.

·         Collaborate with software engineers, architects, DevOps teams, product owners, and other stakeholders.

·         Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to development teams.

·         Support CI/CD automation, cloud deployments, monitoring, and production operations.

·         Help modernize and integrate existing legacy applications where required.

·         Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.

·         Remain fully hands-on while providing technical direction and leadership.

Required Qualifications

·         10+ years of real-world, hands-on industry experience in software development and application engineering.

·         Minimum 10 years of experience developing and supporting full-stack enterprise applications in production environments.

·         Strong experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, Technical Lead, Application Tech Lead, or equivalent.

·         Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and cloud-native application development.

·         Experience providing technical leadership and guidance to large software engineering teams.

·         Strong understanding of modern software architecture and application development practices.

·         Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up time.

·         Must be available to work 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST.

·         Must reside/work within the EST or CST time zones.
