Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst-Data Visualization & Insight Delivery to work remotely .

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will design and deliver impactful, user-centric dashboards and analytics solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights for decision-making. This role emphasizes data storytelling, visualization excellence, and technical rigor in modern BI platforms, supporting CPSC's strategic initiatives such as Sentinel-driven product safety analytics. The analyst will partner with stakeholders to ensure clarity, usability, and trust in all reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Visualization Development
  • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that communicate insights clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Apply data storytelling principles to create visualizations that drive understanding and informed decision-making.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, accessible, and optimized for performance across devices.

• Data Modeling & Transformation
  • Develop robust data models ensuring accuracy, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Implement ETL processes and integrate data from multiple sources, including relational databases and data warehouses.
  • Apply best practices for data governance, including validation, lineage, and documentation.

• Analytics & Insight Delivery
  • Translate business requirements into BI solutions that provide actionable insights and measurable impact.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deliver executive-ready reports to support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine KPIs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Performance Optimization & Quality Assurance
  • Monitor and optimize Power BI performance, including query tuning and resource management.
  • Implement quality checks and validation processes to maintain data integrity and reliability.
  • Stay current with Power BI updates, emerging visualization techniques, and BI best practices.

• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of BI solutions into workflows.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery processes, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in reporting and analytics.

Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in business intelligence, analytics, or data visualization roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, and dashboard/report development.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and relational databases.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Ability to design impactful, user-friendly dashboards that communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Synapse) and cloud-based BI deployments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
• Advanced certifications in Power BI or related BI tools.
