Training Consultant

Herndon, VA

Contract

Position Description

This position conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses. Develops and revises these courses

and prepares appropriate training catalogs. Prepares all instructor materials (course outline background material and training

aids). Prepares all student materials (course manuals workbooks handouts completion certificates and course critique

forms). Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses workshops and seminars. Prepares visual information

maps. Conducts knowledge capture sessions and develops innovative methodologies for accelerating time to knowledge and

capabilities when onboarding new staff.

Required Skills

Bachelor s degree in business administration or a related field with 4 years of experience in federal or commercial industry

2+ years of experience with lean-agile squads and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Experience using ADDIE methodology to create and deliver IT training

Experience with SAP Concur, WalkMe, and/or Federal Travel Regulations

Experience with working with client s internal stakeholders and business partners

Experience leading client interactions workshops etc. either virtual or in-person

Experience in creating or modifying existing documentation to support the subject
