We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our dedicated development team on Site in Bern.

Develop and maintain frontend applications for Data Management Services (Big Data) products.
Take ownership of the full application development lifecycle, including user requirements, specifications, design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance.
Build high-quality, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested software solutions.
Collaborate closely with colleagues in a friendly, open, and agile Scrum environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist with a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence. Minimum 3 years of proven experience developing modern frontend web applications using React and TypeScript. Solid understanding of React, including component-based architecture, hooks, state management, and reusable UI components. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and modern JavaScript/TypeScript language features.

Experience with modern frontend development tools and package managers, such as pnpm, Yarn, Vite, and Vite+. Familiarity with RESTful web services. Working experience with version control systems, especially Git. Good command of English, both written and spoken. A multi-cultural and multi-linguistic team with English as the corporate language (giving you the chance to polish your context switch when mingling!)
