The Role • Assembling new tools and fixtures for plastics processing. • Performing modifications, conversions, repairs, and maintenance work on injection molding and plastic compression tools. • Manufacturing mechanical components from metal and plastic using conventional and CNC processes such as turning, milling, grinding, and polishing. • Ensuring the dimensional accuracy and functionality of all processed tools and components. What You'll Need • Completed apprenticeship as a Tool Mechanic, Precision Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or in a comparable metal-related trade. • Experience in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of injection molding and compression tools is advantageous. • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes (turning, milling, grinding, polishing). • Technical understanding and the ability to read technical drawings. • Independent, careful, and structured work approach. • High quality awareness and manual dexterity.
