Mechaniker (m/w/d) – Mietstation | Baumaschinen | Garching bei München, Germany | On-site We are seeking a skilled Mechanic for our rental station. This role is crucial in ensuring our equipment is ready for projects and well-maintained. The Role • Prepare heavy machinery and construction equipment for rental operations. • Manage the check-out process, including competent customer introductions to equipment operation. • Conduct check-in of returned equipment, identifying and documenting any damages. • Perform inspection, maintenance, and preparation of machinery and equipment, including safety checks. • Execute minor repairs and maintenance in the workshop, on construction sites, or at customer locations. • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the company premises. What You'll Need • Technical or vocational training is desired; prior experience in equipment maintenance is a strong plus (e.g., automotive mechanic, mechatronics). • A proactive and responsible approach to work, ensuring accuracy during equipment handling. • A hands-on attitude and enjoyment of teamwork. • Ability to professionally advise and instruct customers on equipment usage. • A valid driver's license (minimum Class B). • Proficiency with PCs and smartphones for communication and documentation. • Fluent German language skills (written and spoken).
