UAT Analyst

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in QA, UAT, or testing within enterprise environments
• Strong manual testing and defect management experience
• Hands-on experience with JIRA
• Experience supporting UAT and SIT in Agile delivery environments
• Ability to create and execute detailed test scenarios and documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate technical requirements into user/customer experience flows
• Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in fast-moving, highly visible projects

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, banking, or merchant services
• Familiarity with:
  • Merchant onboarding platforms
  • Merchant profile systems
  • Digital/web integration initiatives
• Web (and some exposure to mobile) testing concepts
• Familiarity with internal banking tools
• Experience using Octane or similar test management tools
• Strong understanding of customer onboarding experiences vs. payments processing

What You Will Be Doing

• Support testing efforts from project initiation through production release
• Execute manual testing across:
  • Lower environments
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Production validation
• Create, execute, and maintain:
  • Test plans
  • Test scenarios
  • Test cases
  • Defect documentation
• Partner closely with:
  • Product owners
  • Developers
  • QA peers
  • Business and operational stakeholders
• Validate merchant onboarding and merchant profile workflows across enterprise web platforms
• Identify, document, and communicate defects, risks, and testing issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, status meetings)
• Support multiple initiatives concurrently and adapt to shifting priorities
