Quick overview
Job description
User Experience Lead
Salary: £35,375 per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Home-based, with attendance at our London head office approximately one day per week
This is an exciting opportunity to use your UX skills and expertise to make vital support easier to find, access and use for vulnerable people experiencing gambling related harms.
Founded in 1997, GamCare is a leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. We believe that accessible, intuitive and effective online services can make a real difference to people affected by gambling harms. We're looking for a User Experience Lead who can help us put that belief into practice, ensuring the people who need our support can find it, navigate it and engage with it confidently.
As our User Experience Lead, you'll play a central role in shaping and improving the digital experience across our Helpline and Online Services. Drawing on user feedback, lived experience, digital analytics and operational insight, you'll identify opportunities to make our platforms, content and user journeys more accessible, engaging and effective. You'll lead user testing and co-production activities, champion the voices of people using our services and work closely with colleagues and digital partners to turn insight into meaningful, measurable improvements.
We're looking for someone with experience of developing and improving digital services, websites or online platforms, who understands the importance of user-centred design and digital accessibility. You'll be confident interpreting data, identifying barriers and translating complex information into practical solutions. Collaborative, analytical and proactive, you'll be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders and external suppliers, with the drive to continually improve digital services that have a genuine impact on people's lives.
