Location: Princeton, NJ or Boston, MA (Onsite - 5 days/week)
Salary: Up to $145,000-155,000

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Cloud Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud migration initiatives across Azure and AWS environments.

This is a high-visibility, client-facing role requiring a strong mix of technical depth, solution design expertise, and the ability to engage with stakeholders on strategy, architecture, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud migration architecture, design, implementation, and governance initiatives
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise cloud solutions aligned to best practices
• Partner with clients and internal teams to define cloud strategy and solution roadmaps
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines
• Architect and implement DevSecOps pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Harness
• Design solutions leveraging Azure and AWS services including compute, containers, and serverless
• Implement Zero Trust security models, including identity, access, and encryption strategies
• Develop highly available, disaster-resilient architectures with multi-region capabilities
• Contribute to proposal development, solution design, and commercial discussions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, including Azure (required) and AWS (preferred)
• Strong experience with cloud migration and enterprise-scale architecture design
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in DevSecOps practices and pipeline implementation
• Experience with containerization and cloud services (AKS, ECS, EC2, Azure App Services, Functions, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure architecture
• Experience with identity and access management tools (Entra ID, ForgeRock, MFA, RBAC)

Technical Skills

• Azure: AKS, App Services, Functions, VM, CosmosDB, Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Lake
• AWS: ECS, EC2 and migration exposure
• Security: Zero Trust architecture, encryption (in transit & at rest), mTLS, DAST, penetration testing
• DevOps: GitHub Actions, Harness
• IaC: Terraform Enterprise, ARM Templates
• Data Platforms: Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Azure SQL MI
• Networking: DNS, firewalls, proxies, segmentation, load balancing
• Tools: HashiCorp Vault, API Management, WAF, gateways

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing cross-region, active-active architectures
• Exposure to hybrid cloud (on-prem + cloud) environments
• Background in enterprise security and compliance frameworks
• Experience with enterprise certificate and key management systems
