The Role • Act as a Lead Sales Associate in the absence of store management, overseeing daily operations. • Provide exemplary customer service, assisting shoppers in locating merchandise and ensuring a positive shopping experience. • Manage stock efficiently, including unloading trucks, receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise. • Implement and maintain store plan-o-grams and promotional displays to maximize sales and store appearance. • Operate the cash register, accurately process customer transactions, and handle cash and payments. • Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and security, protecting company assets and minimizing losses. What You'll Need • Proven ability to perform mathematical calculations for transactions and inventory management. • Experience in cash handling, cashier accountability, and deposit control procedures. • Proficiency in operating cash registers and scanners. • Strong understanding of safety policies, cash control procedures, and loss prevention practices. • Effective communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork. • High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience is preferred.
