Content Strategist

Description

We're seeking a Content Strategist to help shape AI-powered product experiences through scalable content strategy, voice and tone standards, and content governance. This role will partner closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to improve how conversational experiences are designed, governed, and delivered across digital products. The ideal candidate combines strategic content thinking with hands-on execution and is excited about the growing role of AI in customer experiences. Responsibilities Develop and evolve content strategy across digital product experiences.

Define and maintain voice, tone, and messaging standards. Create scalable content frameworks, governance processes, and best practices. Partner with Product, UX, and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle. Evaluate AI-generated content and recommend improvements for quality, consistency, and usability. Help shape conversational experiences powered by chatbots and LLM technologies. Establish standards that improve content quality while reducing reactive content work. Contribute to writing, editing, and content reviews as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in Content Strategy, Content Design, UX Writing, or related disciplines. Strong writing, editing, and content review capabilities. Experience working within Agile product development environments. Proven ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. Highly Preferred Experience with: Generative AI Large Language Models (LLMs) Prompt Engineering Conversational AI Chatbots AI Content Evaluation Candidates should be comfortable assessing AI-generated outputs and helping establish standards around voice, tone, consistency, and quality.

This is a Contract position based out of Roseland, NJ. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
