Job Description
EPEC delivers end-to-end solutions across the full lifecycle of grid connection projects-from pre-enquiry and modelling, through to registration, testing, compliance, and commercial operations. Our expertise spans HV power systems engineering, EPC delivery (for substations and BESS BoP), as well as market modelling, SCADA, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) services.
Our mission is to lead the way in connecting the future of Australia's energy supply to renewable power generation sources. Since being founded in 2019, we have grown rapidly to support an evolving industry.
With a wave of new project wins and a strong pipeline ahead for 2026, we are now seeking applications from Projects Engineers to support across a variety of EPC works on the East Coast.
THE ROLEAs an EPEC Project Engineer, you will:
- Take technical responsibility for electrical engineering projects, including study, design, and construction management.
- Collaborate closely with design teams, clients, and suppliers to meet requirements and specifications during the design phase.
- Ensure successful project delivery in relation to time, cost, safety, and quality.
- Develop Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and work packs for electrical installation work packages.
- Manage and coordinate design revisions and version control on-site, including document registers, design information requirements for subcontractors, RFIs, mark ups and site instruction.
- Liaise with the design team to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and uphold high standards of safety and compliance during construction activities.
- Engineering qualifications in electrical discipline or Civil with exposure to working on HV projects (and electrical understanding).
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of HV substation and transmission lines projects essential.
- Available to frequently attend project sites and work a 10:4 roster.
- Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with engineering codes, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Construction White Card essential.
- Valid Australian Drivers License essential.
- Full working rights within Australia.
