Gas Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the private sector.<br />They require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing service &amp; repair contract in the Birmingham areas.<br />Contract Details:<br />Location: Birmingham<br />Work Type: Annual Service Visits (Annual Gas Safety Check), Landlord Gas Safety Records, and central heating repairs.<br />Work Load: 6-8 pre-booked appointments per day<br />Commitment: Minimum of set 3 days per week. Up to 5 days available plus optional weekends and evening call out available at enhanced rates.<br />Contract Length: Ongoing (no end date)<br />Payment terms: Weekly one week in arrears.<br />Rates:

• Annual Service Visit (Annual Gas Safety check): £23.06 per appliance
• Repairs: £41.00 per completed property (full van stock and parts supplied)
• Linked Repair: £30.75 plus Annual Service Visit Rate (if repair required at Annual Gas Safety Check)<br />Optional out-of-hours and weekend work is available at enhanced rates.<br />Key

• 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
• ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) &amp; HTR1 (Gas Fires)
• Panel Van (plain or sign written)
• Gas Safe Registration
• Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
• £2m Public Liability Insurance
