Cloud Engineers (3 Roles ) - Hybrid working - 1 day every 3 months in the office Azure (networking, security control AKS Event Hubs) Terraform, Bash, (PHP or .NET or Python or Powershell or Java) Azure DevOps.

About the Role<br />We’re seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join a project-focused delivery team building the infrastructure behind our high-volume, high-stakes SaaS platforms.<br />You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering Azure cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, working closely with architects and developers to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to best-practice design patterns.<br />This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, automation, and collaboration—and who wants to help set and uphold exceptional engineering standards across a growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing<br />Azure Cloud Infrastructure Delivery &amp; Automation Develop and maintain infrastructure and application deployment pipelines<br />Deploy new and updated infrastructure in line with reference architectures<br />Deliver high-quality, reliable infrastructure aligned to project timelines<br />Use Infrastructure as Code to ensure consistency, repeatability, and scalability Continuous Improvement Refine and enhance deployment processes to improve speed, quality, and reliability<br />Drive best practices in automation, monitoring, and operational excellence<br />Contribute to the ongoing evolution of engineering standards and tooling Project Collaboration Work closely with architects, developers, and delivery teams on project outcomes<br />Ensure alignment with wider Infrastructure Engineering standards and approaches<br />Take ownership of delivery outcomes, even in complex or ambiguous environments Support &amp; Operations Provide 4th line support for infrastructure-related issues<br />Participate in an on-call rota to maintain service reliability<br />Diagnose and resolve complex problems across distributed systems Documentation &amp; Knowledge Sharing Produce clear, high-quality technical documentation<br />Mentor and support the development of other engineers<br />Share best practices and contribute to a collaborative team culture What We’re Looking For<br />Technical Expertise Extensive experience within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including:

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)<br />Application Gateway<br />API Management (APIM)<br />PostgreSQL and SQL Server<br />Service Bus and diagnostics/monitoring services Strong understanding of:

Security, IAM, networking, and database architecture<br />Distributed systems and cloud-native application support Tools &amp; Technologies Proven expertise in:

Azure DevOps<br />Helm Charts<br />Docker<br />Terraform<br />Bash<br />Packer<br />Ansible Professional Skills Strong problem-solving and diagnostic capability<br />Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise based on business impact<br />Proven experience owning delivery outcomes end-to-end<br />Excellent collaboration and communication skills<br />Strong documentation and attention to detail<br />Proactive, solution-oriented mindset Leadership &amp; Mentoring Experience mentoring and supporting other engineers<br />Passion for raising engineering standards and sharing knowledge Additional Strengths Awareness of security best practices, compliance, and monitoring frameworks<br />Familiarity with project lifecycle processes All our roles are UK based.
