This is an onsite entry level role located in McKinney, TX What You Will Do: As a Reliability, Maintainability & Testability Engineer, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Collaborate with program and factory personnel to track anomaly metrics, identify failure trends, perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to drive measurable yield improvement and accelerate throughput
- Collaborate with hardware and software design team to develop a modular, cost-effective maintenance strategy for fielded products.
- Support development of Built-In test (BIT) by developing requirements, driving hardware design feature selection, modeling failure modes and associated fault coverage, supporting software integration, and demonstrating effective capability Qualifications You Must Have:
- 0+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date
- Experience conducting Root Cause and Corrective Action RCCA) investigations or equivalent structured engineering problem solving approach in professional or educational setting
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Preferred majors - Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
- EW/Radar/EO-IR system experience
- Experience with product testing and troubleshooting in the factory/depot or field environment
- Experience working with and interpreting interfaces between hardware and software
- Experience in working with software/firmware development and implementation

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
