Sydney Trains is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer - Wireless to provide technical leadership and engineering authority for business critical wireless systems that keep our network operating safely and efficiently.

In this role, you'll lead the engineering lifecycle of complex wireless systems from concept and design through to implementation, integration and ongoing support. You'll work across multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative technical solutions, drive systems engineering activities, manage technical integration, and ensure our wireless infrastructure continues to meet the needs of one of Australia's largest rail networks.

We're looking for someone with strong systems engineering expertise and extensive experience in wireless and telecommunications technologies, including 3G/4G/5G mobile networks, UHF radio systems, IP networking and wireless infrastructure. You'll also bring hands on experience applying systems engineering methodologies, including requirements management, verification and validation, RAMS and FMECA analysis.
