Palantir Foundry Application Developer
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (Remote)
Role Overview
A Palantir Foundry Application Developer is needed to take ownership of a portfolio of production Foundry applications as the original implementation partner transitions off the program. This role involves enhancing and building upon an existing system, including developing new modules, handling major overhauls, and implementing enhancements. You will inherit a working ontology, a live user base, and approximately two dozen applications already in daily use.
Key Responsibilities
Experience: Two or more years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience in an application development capacity. Demonstrated ability to build applications on an existing ontology.
Technical Skills: Working experience with the Foundry application toolset (Contour, Quiver, Vertex, Workspaces, Jupyter). Proficiency in Python and TypeScript. Experience with data modeling, API and integration work, and pipeline development within Foundry.
Additional Requirements: ship and physical residence in the United States. Ability to work standard business hours with US Central time zone overlap. Background check, drug screen, and work authorization verification are required.

- Build new applications and modules in Palantir Foundry on top of an existing, established ontology.
- Take on larger overhauls and rebuilds of existing applications that exceed the scope of routine support.
- Develop workflows, automations, and integrations across Foundry and connected source systems.
- Design and refine user-facing interfaces to enable self-service for operational users.
- Implement enhancement requests from support channels and field teams.
- Support releases and testing to ensure application stability.
- Work fluently across the Foundry toolset: Contour, Quiver, Vertex, Workspaces, and Jupyter notebooks.
- Model and extend data within the existing ontology.
- Build and maintain pipelines and transforms that feed the applications.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for the application portfolio.
- Train and mentor internal staff to build organizational knowledge.

- Prior tenure as a Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer or Deployment Strategist.
- Background in telecommunications or network operations.
- Experience on a program transitioning from vendor-led implementation to an internal support model.
- A track record of delivering quantified business outcomes from applications built.
- Palantir certification or equivalent platform credentials.
- Experience mentoring or upskilling staff.
- This is a fully remote role based in the US.
- The position follows a standard full-time schedule.
- Collaboration occurs through Microsoft Teams with distributed operational users.
- Changes to applications have direct, next-day consequences for field operations.
