Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Partner Manager, Wearables to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in partner-facing leadership within technology and consumer electronics and a proven ability to develop and execute partnership strategies, manage complex deals, and drive cross-functional outcomes from deal development through product launch.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key leaders at wearables partners and internal stakeholders, communicating recommendations, influencing outcomes, and providing detailed updates.


• Drive leadership meetings and present strategic recommendations and updates to executives and stakeholders, ensuring a cross-ecosystem view for meetings, escalations, and negotiations.


• Partner with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, strategic response, legal, policy, communications, and marketing to prepare for partner meetings and public engagements with goals and materials aligned to strategy.


• Develop and manage end-to-end partnership strategies from deal development to product launches with a focus on growth and measurable results.


• Identify and analyze complex business problems, craft solutions, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.


• Mitigate risks, manage escalations with internal and external executives, and surface opportunities through partner landscape mapping, data analysis, and a holistic partner perspective.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years in partner-facing roles within technology and consumer electronics, managing complex deals and partnerships.


• Sound business judgment with experience prioritizing partner issues, driving solutions, and motivating internal and external stakeholders.


• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams to plan market launches and mitigate risks, including interpreting legal documents and collaborating with attorneys.


• Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized, with clear written and verbal communication skills.


• BA/BS degree.

Preferred Skills:

• MBA degree.


• Business experience in consumer electronics, accessories and devices partnerships, partner management, or consulting.


• Strong technical competence or motivation to learn new technologies.


• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, earn trust, and grow influence inside and outside product organizations.


• Skill in navigating, understanding, and enforcing contracts.


• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business engagements.
