Refrigeration Engineer

Refrigeration Engineer Location: South of England (regional, field-based role) Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (OTE £70,000) + benefits (see below) We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing, well-established business operating across the south of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigeration systems across commercial and/or residential sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer, or a motivated individual looking to develop their career, to join a supportive and professional team with a strong regional presence. The Role This is a regionally based, field role covering sites across the south of England. You will carry out installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of refrigeration equipment, working both independently and as part of a wider team, with a company vehicle, tools, and uniform provided. Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on a variety of refrigeration equipment
• Working on systems including split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, cold rooms, all aspects of refrigeration inc. CO2, and air handling units
• Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety and F-Gas regulations
• Completing job reports and service documentation accurately
• Providing a high level of customer service and professionalism on-site
• Working independently and as part of a team across a regional patch
• Participating in an on-call rota (if required) About You
• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential)
• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Ability to fault-find and problem-solve effectively
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workload efficiently across a wide regional area You'll have experience working across commercial and/or residential refrigeration environments, and be comfortable travelling regularly as part of a field-based, regional role.
