Were currently recruiting for a Hardware Engineer to join a growing technology business developing a range of electronic systems and products.

This role will see you working across both existing (legacy) products and next-generation designs, taking ownership of hardware development from concept through to testing and validation.

The Role

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of electronic systems, including working on a variety of products and peripherals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing electronic circuits and systems from concept to production
• Producing schematics and PCB layouts
• Supporting both legacy product updates and new product development
• Building and testing prototypes, including verification and validation
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Producing clear technical documentation and reports

Requirements

• Around 46 years experience in hardware/electronics design
• Strong circuit design and PCB layout skills
• Experience working across the full hardware development lifecycle
• Ability to take ownership of designs and deliver independently
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

Desirable:

• Experience with wireless technologies
• Exposure to complex electronic systems or products
