Informatica IDMC Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Informatica IDMC Consultant / Senior ETL Developer with strong expertise in Informatica and hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting ETL processes across QA and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and design appropriate ETL solutions.

Develop ETL processes using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI).

Design and develop mappings, tasks, taskflows, schedules, and parameter files.

Develop, test, and deploy ETL code across QA and production environments.

Perform coding and unit testing.

Support integration testing and user acceptance testing.

Provide hypercare and post-production support.

Troubleshoot ETL issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Follow ETL/ELT development best practices and maintain technical documentation.

Apply database design concepts and SQL effectively.

Collaborate with developers, business teams, and support teams throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills:

8+ years of experience with Informatica

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC

Strong experience with ETL tools, with IDMC as the primary tool

Strong knowledge of ETL and ELT best practices

Proficiency in SQL and database design

Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI)

Experience developing:

Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience with root-cause analysis and production troubleshooting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
