Systems Engineer IV

Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform and or Terragrunt, and Helm for charting K8s deployments.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes.
• Ensure platform high availability and reliability.
• Implement robust observability and alerting.
• Implement security best practices in compliance with regulation and enterprise standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test and production environments.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; AWS, Docker, Terraform, Python, file storage.
• 5 years’ experience with below technologies and competencies
• AWS: IAM | EC2: AMIs, EBS, EFS*
• Networking (VPC) | DNS (Route53) | EKS | CloudWatch | CloudWatch Alerts | Docker | Kubernetes | Terraform | Terragrunt | Helm | Git | GitHub | GitLab | Splunk | OTel | Prometheus | Grafana | AlertManager | Python | Shell scripting |
• Agile | Problem-solving skills | Strong written and oral communication
• Experience with any distributed file storage technologies, e.g. NFS, FSx for OpenZFS etc.
• Working knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
• Front Office engineering experience with an Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, or IB
• R coding experience with RStudio.
• Go coding experience.
• Work Flexibility This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week
