Position Summary
A dynamic software engineering role focused on developing, configuring, and maintaining solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The candidate will contribute to moderately complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support large-scale planning and implementation efforts. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative use cases, ensure secure and scalable solutions, and enhance technical expertise in cloud and third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize solutions on the ServiceNow platform using configuration and scripting techniques.
Work on the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) module to enhance risk management capabilities.
Contribute to agentic AI use cases, supporting innovative automation initiatives.
Code, configure, perform unit testing, maintain, and document software components following established standards and best practices.
Ensure all solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant policies.
Manage the product backlog by creating and prioritizing technical stories.
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of features.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of third-party and cloud-based solutions.
Assess technical impacts of new product releases and coordinate their implementation.
Participate in daily stand-ups and coordinate with the Agile team, reporting progress and blockers.
Engage in code reviews and sprint retrospectives to promote continuous improvement.
Validate feature quality through manual and automated testing, utilizing continuous integration practices.
Collaborate with business analysts to interpret requirements and translate them into deliverable solutions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to less-experienced team members to foster professional growth.
Required Qualifications
At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
Proven experience with platform configuration and scripting.
Familiarity with risk management modules and automation use cases.
Strong understanding of secure, scalable solution development aligned with industry standards.
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Experience with cloud solutions and third-party integrations.
Competence in code review, testing, and continuous integration methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Prior involvement with ServiceNow or similar enterprise service management platforms.
Knowledge of AI and automation frameworks.
Ability to mentor team members and share technical best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
