Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer
Rate: £575 (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote- 1-2 days onsite in Manchester per month

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and support of Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms.
• Provide technical leadership to DevOps, Cloud and Platform Engineering teams.
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep/ARM.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment and operational processes.
• Implement Azure security, identity, networking and governance best practices.
• Work with architects and engineering teams to develop scalable and resilient cloud solutions.
• Lead containerisation and Kubernetes deployments using AKS and Docker.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability across Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment and production issues.
• Drive DevSecOps practices, integrating security and quality controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish engineering standards, reusable patterns and automation frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across the DevOps function.
• Support cloud migration, modernisation and platform transformation initiatives.
• Participate in technical design reviews, architecture discussions and service improvement activities.
