Job Description

We are looking for a Tooling/Automation Design Engineer to support the design and development of manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection fixtures, along with robotic automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection fixtures using SolidWorks.
• Create complete 3D fixture layouts and assemblies.
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings using GD&T.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to validate fixture concepts.
• Support fixture trials and resolve shop-floor issues.
• Support robotic automation activities.
• Drive process capability and productivity improvements through effective fixture solutions.
• Design and develop fixtures according to project requirements.
• Coordinate effectively between onsite and offshore teams.

Qualification

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and fixture fabrication.

Familiarity with shop-floor trials and fixture validation.-
