SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant (Direct Procurement)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant with expertise in ERP implementations focused on Material Management and Direct Procurement within the automotive or manufacturing industry. This role involves both new development and production support activities, working closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, test, and support SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to deliver application enhancements.
  • Gather business requirements and perform business analysis.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis.
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation, including functional and technical design documents.
  • Create use cases, user stories, and other requirements documentation.
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical development teams, including ABAP, PCF, and Fiori developers.
  • Perform SAP configuration to support business requirements.
  • Support functional, security, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Support cutover activities, data profiling, data extraction, and data cleansing.
  • Analyze integration requirements with legacy non-SAP systems.
  • Provide production support for deployed SAP functionality.
  • Conduct end-user training.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years of IT experience.
  • 4+ years of software development or SAP implementation experience.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Material Management (MM).
  • Experience supporting requisition-to-order business processes.
  • Ability to perform SAP configuration.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and business analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • SAP Certification.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori implementations.
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba.
  • Familiarity with ABAP.
