Agentic AI Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to join their team in Brookhaven, GA.

Summary:
We are seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions that drive business and operational outcomes. This role will focus on building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and intelligent automation. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with hands-on experience developing scalable, production-ready AI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support enterprise AI applications and intelligent automation solutions
• Develop LLM-powered applications utilizing RAG, tool-calling, and orchestration frameworks
• Build APIs, microservices, and integrations that support AI platforms and workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize AI and machine learning solutions
• Implement testing, monitoring, governance, and security best practices for AI applications
• Contribute to enterprise AI architecture, reusable frameworks, and engineering standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience building and supporting production-grade enterprise applications
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI solutions
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, testing, and version control
• Knowledge of scalable application design and software engineering best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
