Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager – Exhibitions

Office-based, 5 days a week

Salary: Circa £55,000 + Performance Bonus (OTE £70,000+)

Our client is a fast-growing international events business that has scaled rapidly over the past five years and is looking to continue that growth.

The role:

They are looking for a Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager to take full ownership of a high-profile exhibition portfolio that drives significant revenue for the business. This is a role with genuine autonomy, it would suit someone who wants real ownership, thrives on accountability, and is motivated by building rather than maintaining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the marketing strategy for the exhibition portfolio, from positioning through to delivery
• Drive attendance, sponsorship engagement and revenue growth across multiple international markets
• Bring your own ideas to the table pitch new concepts directly, with the autonomy to run with them if the team backs it
• Lead and develop a small team, including a direct report who manages their own team of two
• Contribute strategic input directly to senior leadership, rather than simply executing against a brief
• Build and deliver integrated campaigns across digital, PR, content and partnerships

Requirements:

• Proven track record in marketing for large-scale B2B exhibitions, 6+ years
• Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable getting hands-on with delivery
• Commercially minded, with a clear focus on revenue and business impact
• Confident working with autonomy and ownership, rather than within heavy structure or process
• Driven, ambitious, and motivated by growth
• Comfortable operating in a flat, fast-paced environment with direct access to senior leadership
