Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced PMO Lead to join our growing team. The PMO Lead is the senior leader accountable for the successful delivery of a large, concurrent portfolio of IT and capital-aligned projects for a utility-sector client. This is a client-facing leadership role that owns portfolio delivery outcomes, integrates with the client's established governance framework, leads a team of Project Managers, and operates as a trusted extension of the client's own PMO. The PMO Lead sets delivery standards, drives governance discipline and continuous improvement, and provides executive-level decision support.

Job Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 15 20 years of progressive project, program and/or portfolio management experience.
• Demonstrated accountability for a managed PMO or portfolio (ownership of outcomes, not staff augmentation).
• Proven experience leading and governing teams of Project Managers.
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and large project portfolios.
• Strong governance, executive-stakeholder and decision-support experience in a gated delivery environment.
• Experience across waterfall and hybrid (agile + waterfall) delivery methods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Utility-industry experience strongly preferred leading portfolios of IT, capital, digital transformation, infrastructure modernization, grid modernization or customer-service transformation initiatives.
• Professional Services (PS) delivery experience highly preferred.
• Public-sector or regulated-industry PMO leadership and audit-ready governance experience.
• Experience standing up or maturing a PMO operating model.

Experience Requirements

• 15 20 years overall, including significant time in a senior portfolio- or PMO-leadership capacity with direct line responsibility for Project Managers and accountability for multi-project delivery outcomes.

Certifications

• PMP (PMI) mandatory, or an equivalent globally recognized project management certification. Portfolio/program credentials (PfMP, PgMP) advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Enterprise PPM / portfolio management platforms and reporting tools.
• Portfolio dashboards, KPI/SLA reporting and data-driven decision support.
• Governance, phase-gate and stage-gate delivery frameworks.
• Financial forecasting, capacity planning and resource management tooling.
