Job Title: ServiceNow Developer – CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-Data Foundations

Location: San Jose, CA (2 Days Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a ServiceNow Developer with strong platform and ITSM expertise to build, configure, and optimize ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate holds CSA + CAD + CIS-ITSM + CIS-Data Foundations and can translate business needs into scalable, secure ServiceNow applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Development: Design and develop custom applications using ServiceNow Platform: Scripting, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flows, and IntegrationHub
ITSM Implementation: Configure and enhance ITSM modules - Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Catalog
Data Foundations: Own Data Foundations architecture - data model design, data ingestion, data quality, and integration with external sources using Import Sets, Transform Maps, IRE
Certified Admin + Developer Work:

CSA: Platform administration, users, groups, roles, ACLs, notifications
CAD: Application development, scoped apps, Glide API, Jelly, Angular

Integrations: Build REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server, JDBC, and third-party tool integrations
CMDB & Discovery: Maintain CMDB health, implement Discovery patterns, Service Mapping, and ensure data integrity
Automation: Build workflows in Flow Designer, Orchestration, and automated approvals
Testing & Release: Perform unit testing, support UAT, and manage releases via Update Sets / Source Control / DevOpsStakeholder Management: Gather requirements from business, document solutions, and provide L3 support

Required Skills:

10+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience
Must have Certifications:

Certified System Administrator - CSA
Certified Application Developer - CAD
CIS – IT Service Management - ITSM
CIS – Data Foundations - DF

Strong JavaScript, Glide API, and server/client-side scripting
Deep knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL v4
Experience with Data Foundations: data model, data products, data governance, and data integration
Experience with CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping
Understanding of ACLs, security, and compliance best practices
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD for ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications:

CIS – HRSD, CIS – ITOM, or CIS – SecOps
Experience with ServiceNow App Engine, Portal, and Predictive Intelligence
Background in Finance, Healthcare, or Federal domain
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Jira
