Hogan/Mainframe SME Engineer

Here is OUR CLIENT REQUIREMENT which can be filled immediately.

Position: Hogan/Mainframe SME Engineer
Location: Jersey city, NJ
Duration: Contract

Summary:
Reverse-engineer Hogan modules and serve as the squad's source of truth on legacy behaviour during the migration to Pismo.

Responsibiltities:
Reverse-engineer Hogan modules in scope (IDS, CIS,PEP+, ULS, DDA, or rait-specific)
Codify business rules embedded in COBOL into canonicial specifications
Build extraction interfaces over VSAM, DB@, and MQ
Implement dual-write hooks, rollback paths, and legacy-side change controls.

Must Have:
10+ years on DXC Hogan platform.
Expert on COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, AND MQ
Experience documenting and decommissioning legacy capabilities for cloud migration
Strong production change-management discipline

Nice to Have:
Prior Hogan-to-cloud core migration exp.
Exposure to ISO 20022 mapping
