Job Title: Senior Technology Training Specialist (Hybrid)

Duration: up to 5 Years

 

Job Description:

Senior Technology Training Specialist to develop and deliver technology training and documentation supporting applications used by the Client. The Resource will support training for commercially available and proprietary software applications, Microsoft Office applications, and specialized technical solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Technology Training Specialist will:

  • Plan, develop, and deliver hands-on instructor-led training for commercially available and proprietary software applications.
  • Plan and develop technical documentation, training videos, and instructional design modules for commercially available and proprietary software applications.
  • Communicate with the Contract Manager regarding project plans, status, and updates for each assignment.
  • Develop and deliver in-person instructor-led training for commercially available and proprietary software.
  • Deliver customer training programs using adult learning principles to individuals and groups of users.
  • Use technical applications to support training development, including tools such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Vyond.
  • Manage training projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Use methodologies to plan, track, and deliver high-quality technical training.
  • Develop technical documentation for commercially available and proprietary software, including Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, and content for the web.
  • Develop video and interactive recorded training to support technical processes.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks, resources, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Organize and manage time effectively to handle concurrent training initiatives and deadlines.
  • Apply customer service standards when interacting with internal and external Subject Matter Experts.
  • Identify and troubleshoot user-defined challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Work with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Copilot, OneNote, and SharePoint.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • At least five (5) years of experience as a technology trainer with proprietary and/or advanced off-the-shelf software, such as Microsoft Teams, Copilot, OneNote, SharePoint, and similar applications.
  • At least three (3) years of experience developing technical documentation.
  • Experience developing and delivering in-person instructor-led training for commercially available and proprietary software.
  • Experience delivering customer training programs using adult learning principles to individuals and groups of users.
  • Experience using technical applications for training development, such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, etc.
  • Experience managing training projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Ability to plan, track, and deliver high-quality technical training.
  • Ability to develop technical documentation for commercially available and proprietary software, including Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, and web content.
  • Ability to develop video and interactive recorded training supporting technical processes.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, resources, and stakeholders effectively.
