Job Description

Our Mission

You call. You wait. You call again. In every other part of your life, you book in seconds. In healthcare, you’re blocked.

We’re here to give power to the patient.

For nearly 20 years, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace - helping tens of millions of people find and book the care they need. Now, we’re going further: building our infrastructure beyond Zocdoc’s marketplace to power access to care wherever patients search, from provider websites and insurance directories to search engines, AI platforms, and more.

Healthcare still lacks something every other major consumer industry takes for granted: a seamless way to go from seeking to getting. We don’t want to own the front door to care; there isn't one. We want to make sure all of those doors open when patients are knocking.

Fixing healthcare starts with fixing access to it. And we're still just getting started.

Your Impact on our Mission

This role is central to shaping how patients and providers perceive and engage with Zocdoc. You’ll help ensure our brand reflects the humanity of healthcare and the value of Zocdoc through storytelling, creative, and community engagement that strengthen our reputation and drive affinity. Your work will make Zocdoc not just a platform people use, but a brand they love, believe in and want to be a part of.

Your day to day is…

  • Lead Zocdoc’s organic social strategy (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels), building awareness, affinity, and engagement among patients and providers.
  • Develop and execute always-on social programming and campaigns, ensuring content is high-quality, on-brand, and optimized for each platform.
  • Lead content ideation and oversee production.
  • Manage internal and external creatives to deliver best-in-class social content.
  • Contribute to broader brand initiatives, bringing social insight and creative input into the development of strategy and creative.
  • Experiment with formats, trends and real-time moments that extend reach and cultural relevance.
  • Lead community management, acting as the voice of Zocdoc on social platforms, participating in conversations, and building meaningful relationships with audiences and creators.
  • Own performance tracking and analytics for organic social, translating insights into clear actions and continuous optimization.
  • Build systems and workflows that enable efficient, high-quality creative production at scale.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated storytelling and maximize the impact of campaigns, launches, and brand moments across social channels.
  • Define and drive Zocdoc’s creator strategy, ensuring strong brand alignment, and measurable impact.

You’ll enjoy this role if you are…

  • A strategist who can connect social efforts to brand and business goals.
  • A creative thinker who brings distinctive ideas, programs, and strategies to the table.
  • An action-oriented maker who likes to get hands-on: writing briefs, doing the work, bringing ideas to life that move the needle.
  • A true collaborator who values strong cross-functional partnership and approaches work as a team sport.
  • Analytical, using data and insights to measure and continually improve performance.
  • A process-oriented builder, excited to build the systems and foundations that will help the brand scale.

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

  • 8–10 years of experience in organic brand social
  • Proven track record developing and executing social strategies that drive brand growth
  • Experience in community management
  • Familiarity with reputation management and social listening
