Senior Java Developer

Hays are now looking for a Senior Java Developer for one of our local clients: 3322 p/d Outside IR35<br />3 days p/w in Glasgow, rest is WFH<br />6 month contract+<br />The Senior Java Developer will have strong back-end Java skills and React/JSF front-end experience to deliver modern web applications in an Agile environment.

What you'll be doing Developing and enhancing Java-based applications and services<br />Building and supporting front-end components using React and JSF<br />Delivering REST APIs and microservices<br />Working closely with product, test and delivery teams<br />Contributing to CI/CD, testing and continuous improvementWhat we're looking for Java 8+<br />Spring Boot / Spring MVC<br />REST APIs and microservices<br />JSF<br />React<br />JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS<br />JPA, JSP, Servlets, JDBC<br />Git<br />Jenkins, Maven, JIRA<br />CI/CD experience<br />TDD and automated testing<br />Web Accessibility (NVDA, WAVE, Accessibility Insights)<br />Agile/Scrum experience<br />Technical leadership and client-facing experience<br />Nice to have:

MuleSoft, Redux, Node.js, Freemarker, XHTML.
