React Native Developer

Avanciers are seeking a skilled React Native Developer with 5–8 years of experience in cross-platform mobile application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android using React Native. This role requires experience throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Build new application features and enhance existing mobile applications while ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Participate in application architecture, technical design discussions, and solution planning.
• Perform code reviews, maintain source code repositories, and follow development best practices.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production defects.
• Optimize application performance, security, and user experience across multiple devices.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Product Management, and UX/UI teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of IT experience with strong expertise in React Native development.
• Hands-on experience developing cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Strong knowledge of React Native components, navigation, libraries, debugging tools, SDKs, and native modules.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and Jira.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Experience conducting peer code reviews and collaborating within Agile development teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android).
• Knowledge of mobile application security and performance testing.
• Experience packaging and deploying mobile applications to App Store and Google Play.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Ability to estimate development effort, assess technical risks, and recommend optimal technical solutions.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
