University Relations & Recruiting Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner (Level 1 – Early Career)

What the Hiring Manager is Looking For

This is a true entry-level/junior Talent Acquisition opportunity (0–4 years of experience). The manager is seeking entry level candidates, early-career recruiters, or individuals transitioning into Talent Acquisition who are eager to learn and grow. Candidates with extensive recruiting experience (7+ years) are not the target profile.

Key Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting for interns and early-career hires.

• Build relationships with universities, career centers, and student organizations.

• Attend career fairs and campus recruiting events.

• Screen candidates and coordinate interviews.

• Partner with hiring managers to support hiring needs.

• Maintain candidate data in Workday/ATS and ensure a positive candidate experience.

• Track recruiting metrics and support process improvements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree with 0 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of recruiting, HR, or customer-facing experience.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to travel up to 25%.

• Must be based in or near Palmdale, CA.

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to recruiting, HR, university relations, or campus recruiting.

• Experience with Workday, Eightfold, or other ATS platforms.

• Customer service, hospitality, retail, or campus leadership experience.

• Strong organizational skills and eagerness to build a career in Talent Acquisition.
