Care Promoter | Pembroke Pines, FL, United States | On-site | $17.0 - $24.26 Hourly We're hiring for a rapidly expanding primary care provider that is transforming healthcare for seniors and improving the well-being of the communities it serves. The Role • Measure and record patient vital signs, patient interviews, and medical history. • Catalog and communicate patient needs to the care team, including physicians and other clinical personnel. • Prepare patients for examinations, perform routine screening tests, and assist physicians with exams. • Observe patients and report any changes in their conditions to the appropriate clinical personnel. • Perform non-critical medical and therapeutic procedures, collect lab specimens, and perform basic waived lab tests. • Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices through follow-up calls. What You'll Need • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with compassion and empathy for patients and families. • Exceptional oral and written communication, time management, and organizational skills. • Ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other clinicians. • Mindset focused on problem-solving for patients and achieving team goals. • Knowledge of medical terminology, services, standards, policies, and procedures. • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer operations.
