About the Opportunity

A well-funded, venture-backed AI startup is hiring an AI Agents Builder to work directly with the founding team on the company's highest-priority initiatives.

This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role at the intersection of applied AI, software engineering, and startup operations. You'll design and build AI-powered systems that improve internal operations, enhance customer experiences, and help the company scale.

This is an onsite role based in Redwood City, California

What You'll Do

- Build production-ready AI workflows, automations, and AI agent systems

- Develop internal tools that streamline recruiting, operations, enterprise onboarding, and other core business functions

- Design and deploy LLM-powered applications and workflow automations

- Build API integrations with business platforms, CRMs, and internal systems

- Partner closely with engineering, product, GTM, and operations teams to identify opportunities where AI can drive meaningful business impact

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience

- At least 1 year of startup experience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

- Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI agents in production

- Strong backend, full-stack, or systems engineering skills

- A founder mindset with a high degree of ownership and a passion for solving complex problems

Compensation & Benefits

- Base Salary: $200,000-$300,000
