Job Description

Job Title: ServiceNow Architect
Location: Remote – USA/Canada
Certification: CMA / CTA Certification MUST
Certification Date: Must be issued before 2024. Certifications from 2024, 2025, or 2026 will not be accepted.

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect to own the platform vision, architecture, governance, and strategic roadmap. The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise-level ServiceNow architecture experience and the ability to lead multiple teams and delivery partners toward a unified technical vision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the ServiceNow platform vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with enterprise IT and business objectives.
  • Provide architectural leadership and ensure solution designs follow platform standards and best practices.
  • Design and maintain governance frameworks covering instance strategy, integrations, and data architecture.
  • Lead platform governance forums and drive consistent technical decisions across teams and partners.
  • Evaluate emerging ServiceNow capabilities and lead proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Oversee the complete ServiceNow delivery lifecycle, from planning through post-production optimization.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to scalability, performance, technical debt, and platform architecture.
  • Promote ServiceNow architectural best practices across business stakeholders, partners, and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow product and engineering teams and provide structured feedback to influence product direction.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution strategy, and program leadership.
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge across multiple ServiceNow modules, including:
    • ITSM
    • ITOM
    • CMDB
    • Discovery
    • HAM / SAM
    • CSM
    • HRSD
    • IRM
    • SPM / PPM
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow App Engine and custom application development.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale, multi-workflow architectures.
  • Strong expertise in platform strategy, integration patterns, governance, and architecture frameworks.
  • Ability to operate as a program-level architect and guide multiple teams and delivery partners.
  • Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with GenAI, automation, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, or Moveworks is preferred.
Mandatory Certification
CMA or CTA is strongly preferred/MUST-have for submission.
Acceptable ServiceNow certifications may include CMA, CTA, CIS, CSA, CAD, or relevant Micro-Certifications, but candidates with CMA/CTA should be prioritized.
Certification Verification: Certification must be verified through the ServiceNow Partner Portal.
Critical: Certification must be dated before January 1, 2024. Do not submit candidates whose qualifying certification was obtained in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
